The large leaves held up beautifully across three steeps, each cup releasing a different layer of flavor. Really appreciate how clean and polished this sheng tastes without any harshness.
I was worried sheng would be too bitter, but this one brews up surprisingly smooth and a little sweet. The big leaves mean I get five or six good steeps out of one spoonful, and it keeps changing flavor each round.
The large leaves hold up for at least six or seven steeps before they start to fade, which is way more than I expected for the price. Dry and polished might sound odd for tea, but it really does taste clean rather than muddy.
