We proudly partner with Nuxalbari Tea Estate, a woman-owned tea farm—virtually unheard of in India—and celebrate the work they do. The estate provides animal corridors allowing elephants, tigers, and other animals to move safely through the estate.

Women and men are promoted equally. Nuxalbari also runs an educational curriculum, teaching environmental stewardship to the children of the estate's 1,000 employees. I've only ever had Darjeeling as a black tea, so trying it green was a gamble that paid off. The muscatel is still there but lighter, almost floral, and it doesn't go bitter if I steep it a bit long. Handpicked from the Himalayan foothills makes it feel a little special too.
