Honey Matcha tastes smooth with a vegetal, rounded aroma and finishes with a delicate aftertaste. Honey softens the green bite you might notice with matcha. The honey taste is slight.

Our matcha is shade grown approximately three weeks. Prior to processing, the stems and veins are removed and the tea leaves are ground into powdered form.

To prepare, mix matcha powder into water (traditionally done with a bamboo whisk). Because matcha consists of whole tea leaves, both nutrients—including chlorophyll, antioxidants, and vitamin content—and the caffeine content remain higher than infused teas. Matcha is the power punch of green tea!

While you might think drinking matcha is the only way to consume this healthy tea, there are endless ways to add it to your diet. Matcha lattes and Matcha Palmers made with Wild Strawberry Matcha are astounding! Add a couple grams to baked goods and smoothies.

I was worried the honey would make this too sweet, but it just takes the sharp edge off the green bite. The aftertaste is delicate and lingers a bit, which I really like.

I was worried the honey would make it too sweet, but it's just a faint roundness that takes the edge off the vegetal bite. The aftertaste lingers a bit like fresh greens, which I actually enjoy.

The honey really does soften the green bite without making it sweet, which I appreciate since I drink this plain. Smooth, rounded finish and no bitterness even when I accidentally use water that's a bit too hot.
