The orange really rounds out the bergamot here, so it drinks softer than the usual bright Earl Grey without losing that citrus. I've been having it plain in the afternoon and it doesn't go bitter if I forget the bag for a few extra minutes.
I usually find Earl Grey too sharp, but this one’s citrus feels softer and rounder, almost like a slow fade instead of a bright hit. The bergamot and orange weave together so smoothly that I’m already on my second cup this morning.
The citrus layers here are so well balanced—the bergamot’s usual sharpness melts into something almost creamy, and the orange note lingers just long enough after each sip. I’ve been brewing it strong with a splash of milk and it’s become my afternoon ritual.
