I was skeptical about juniper in a rooibos, but it works — the dry, almost gin-like edge keeps the vanilla from getting too sweet. Been drinking it plain every evening this week and the creamy texture really lingers.
The lavender is what sold me, it's subtle but definitely there behind the creamy vanilla. I've been drinking it plain in the evenings and the texture is smoother than most rooibos I've had.
The juniper berries give this a nice dry edge that keeps the vanilla from getting too sweet. I brew it for about five minutes and the lavender comes through without overpowering the rooibos. Genuinely one of the better caffeine-free teas I've had.
