The mesh is fine enough that I get almost no bits in my cup, and the tea leaves have room to open up fully instead of being cramped in a bag. I've been using it over a glass jar and cleanup is just a quick rinse.

Switching from bags to loose leaf was messy until this strainer — the tea finally has room to open up in my mug instead of being cramped in a little ball. The holes are fine enough that I'm not getting grit in my cup either.

Didn't expect a simple strainer to change my tea routine, but the wide opening really lets my rolled oolong leaves unfurl instead of cramming into a ball. Fits right over my mug and rinses clean in seconds.
