I usually find Earl Grey too perfumey, but the toned-down bergamot here actually lets the large leaf black tea come through. Smooth enough to drink without milk, which I didn't expect.

The bergamot is much more subdued here, which lets the large leaf black tea really shine through—it's smooth and incredibly easy to sip without milk. I've been brewing it a bit stronger than usual and it still stays sweet and mellow, no bitterness at all.

It’s got that proper black tea depth I was hoping for, with just enough bergamot to remind you it’s an Earl Grey without shouting about it. The large leaves make a smooth, steady cup that holds up fine to a splash of milk. Only knock is I wish the bag were a touch stronger for a second brew.
