I expected a punchy malty Kenyan and got something much softer up front, then that oaty, biscuity finish kicks in on the back end. Been drinking it plain all week and it's smooth enough that I don't need milk.
The first sip is surprisingly light, then that biscuity finish sneaks up on you. I've been drinking it plain all week and the oaty note really comes through without any bitterness.
I usually take my Kenyan black with milk, but this one I've been drinking plain because the light start is too good to cover up. It finishes with that heavier biscuity thing that lingers a bit, almost like a plain oat cookie. Genuinely a nice change from the sharper Kenyan blacks I've had.
